South Whidbey Weather started as a fun way to update local friends and farmers on instagram, sharing my hobby of tracking windstorms and extreme weather that can frequent our unique climate.

After posting under a personal account, some friends encouraged a public account on instagram.

After some traction there, this site was spun up to accompany my instagram posts and as a way to own my content and export content off of unpredictible tech platforms.

Growing up on the west coast with a deep wonder for weather from a young age, large pacific storms always had a profound impact growing up.
